Morvanthe does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or adverts. It does keep a handful of entries in your browser’s own storage, and every one of them is listed below.

Cookies

Zero. Not ours, not anyone else’s. Each page loads only files from morvanthe.co.uk, with no fonts, scripts or images fetched from other sites.

Entries kept whatever you choose

These make the site behave as promised, so they sit in local storage regardless of your choice:

• mvn.age: your reply to the age question, so you are asked only once.
• mvn.consent: whether you pressed Accept or Reject.
• mvn.break: when a break set with the Pause key ends, so the lock holds until then.
• mvn.session (session storage): this session’s start time, rounds and facet totals, which power time checks and limits. It goes when the tab closes.

Entries that follow your choice

Accept puts these in local storage so they last between visits. Reject keeps them in session storage, which clears when the tab closes:

• mvn.facets: your facet count.
• mvn.stickers: rounds per game, rank and stickers.
• mvn.prefs: time check, round cap, facet limit, calm mode and evening plan.

Both buttons carry equal weight, and every game works either way.

Changing your mind

Press Change storage choice here or at the bottom of any page. Choosing Reject removes the optional entries from the device immediately. Your play record can be wiped from the Stickers page, or by deleting this site’s data in your browser.

The contact form

No cookies are involved. The form carries a signed key that expires, which keeps automated spam out; what happens to your message is explained in the privacy notice.
