Guides · plain English · no tips for winning
The workbench
Four short guides from the people who built the cube. They explain how the games work and how chance behaves, and they say plainly what no guide can do: change the long-run return of a game of chance.
- Two readings, one turnWhy Quarter Turn reads the face twice, and why that is not extra value.
- Lowball in five minutesThe hand where small is beautiful and aces let you down.
- Chance forgets every roundWhat Rise & Slide’s exact chances say about streaks.
- Set the stop before the startLimits that hold are the ones you choose while you are calm.
Why these guides exist
Chance plays tricks on the mind. Almost hitting feels like progress, a bad patch feels as if it must end soon, and a big return looks like a message. None of it holds, on this site or anywhere. Understanding the games matters more to us than how long you play them.
