A hexagon of reels
Hexacore is the second reel slot inside the cube. Its five reels are different heights, three, four, five, four and three rows, so the window forms a hexagon. Instead of fixed lines it pays by ways: a symbol pays when it appears on neighbouring reels from the left, in any row. Two amethysts on the first reel, one on the second and two on the third make four ways of three amethysts, and each way pays.
The symbols are polished minerals: amethyst, fluorite, pyrite and quartz at the top, and four hexagon tiles of onyx, jasper, jade and agate below them. The glowing core is the wild; it can appear on reels two to four and counts as whichever mineral helps.
The wild core
Land three geodes in any positions and six bonus spins follow, free of any further stake. In every bonus spin the whole middle reel, all five cells, is a core wild, which joins the left and right halves of the hexagon together. Bonus spins cannot start more bonus spins.
What to expect
Hexacore is livelier and steadier than Glassworks. Around six spins in ten return something, yet most of those are below the stake, and the result line under the reels tells you so. The bonus starts roughly once every 90 spins. Across thousands of spins the return settles a touch under what goes in.
How to play Hexacore
Pick a stake and press Spin. Wins are counted by ways: matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left, in any row.
A win on three or more reels returns the pay-table amount per way, times the stake, for every way it can be made. The ways multiply: two matches on each of three reels make 8 ways.
The core wild lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 and stands in for every symbol except the geode.
Three or more geodes anywhere return 2, 8 or 40 times the stake and start 6 bonus spins at no further stake.
In bonus spins every cell of the middle reel is a core wild. Bonus spins cannot start more bonus spins.
Pay table
Every figure is the number of facets handed back for each facet staked, stake included. A return below 1 × stake is less than you put in, and the game says so. Facets have no cash value.
