Five reels in a hot shop
Glassworks is the first of the two reel slots inside the cube: five reels by three rows, with twenty lines that always count from reel one. The reels are stocked from a glassblower’s bench. A swirled vase, a glass swan, a millefiori paperweight and a perfume bottle are the high symbols; four glass marbles in ember, plum, opal and teal fill the rest. Line up three or more alike from the leftmost reel and the line pays.
The brass-rimmed magnifying lens is the wild. It turns up only on the middle three reels, and each lens lands showing ×1, ×2 or ×3. A line that passes through lenses is multiplied by their total, so two lenses at ×2 and ×3 make that line worth five times its usual amount.
Melt Down
Three furnaces anywhere start eight bonus spins at no further stake. The first bonus spin is played on the usual reels. From the second, the cheapest marble still on the reels goes back into the furnace and comes out as the next colour up: teal becomes opal, then opal becomes plum. Fewer kinds of symbol means lines form more easily. When the bonus ends, the reels are restocked as before.
What to expect
Glassworks swings. Most spins hand back nothing or a part of the stake; the lens multipliers and the bonus carry the larger returns, and the bonus starts about once every 150 spins. Over many spins the game returns a little less than you put in. Spins are quick, so it is worth setting a round limit or a time check on Play Well before you start.
How to play Glassworks
Pick a stake and press Spin. The stake is shared across all 20 lines.
Three or more matching symbols on a line, starting from the left reel, return the pay-table amount times the line stake (the stake divided by 20).
The lens wild lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and stands in for every symbol except the furnace. Each lens shows ×1, ×2 or ×3; a line that runs through lenses is multiplied by the total of their values.
Three or more furnaces anywhere return 2, 10 or 50 times the stake and start 8 bonus spins at no further stake.
Melt Down: from the second bonus spin, the cheapest marble still on the reels is melted into the next colour up, then the next, until only the plum marble and the symbols above it remain. Everything returns to normal when the bonus ends.

Pay table
Every figure is the number of facets handed back for each facet staked, stake included. A return below 1 × stake is less than you put in, and the game says so. Facets have no cash value.
